Love’s Complicated: Documentary

In March 2024, Love’s Complicated took to the stage at Rotherham Civic Theatre. This newly devised show follows Mandy and Ian, two learning disabled adults, as they navigate the ups and downs of falling in love.

To showcase the creative process, Open House Pictures captured the journey in a behind-the-scenes documentary. The film gives insight into what it takes to create the show—from the hard work in rehearsals to the excitement of performance. This documentary also shows the importance of LIFE ACT’s work both for the performers involved and the audiences who experience it.
