Our story
Life Act has been providing opportunities for adults with learning and/or physical disabilities to become actively involved in the performing arts since 2011. Our goal is to help our participants develop their confidence and self-esteem while honing their performing arts skills.
A disability led approach.
We are proud to work as a disability led theatre company, meaning that our members make the decisions about what they would like to do and how they would like to do it. Our shows are created and devised by our actors, meaning that the content is authentic and covers issues that Life Act members feel passionate about.
